2025 Property Maintenance Program
In 2025, Focus Area 4A, which is located predominately east of Lakeshore Drive, north of Kingsley Avenue and west of Niles Avenue., is being inspected. This area was last inspected in 2018. Announcement letters are sent to the property owners in early February with the exterior property inspections from the public right-of-way taking place during February, March, and April. Beginning May 1st, Correction Notices are sent to property owners that did not pass the inspection.
If a Correction Notice is issued for a property the owner/agent will have until September 20, 2025 to complete the required repairs. An appeal process is available if more time is believed necessary to make repairs or to contest the determination. If your property ‘passed’ the inspection you will not receive a formal follow-up letter but feel free to call to confirm.
The Property Maintenance Board of Appeals is responsible for hearing all appeals associated with the program.
