Park Parking Passes

Parking Kiosk at Whirlpool Centennial Park

Parking passes are needed from April 1 - October 31 to park at the following locations: Tiscornia Beach; Lions Park; the Elm Street lot near the Whirlpool Compass Fountain; and, Kiwanis Park.  Parking kiosks are available at each site.  Visitors may pay by the hour, pay by the day, or purchase a season pass.

The pay-by-plate parking system allows state-of-the-art equipment to monitor parking areas by scanning your license plate. The scanners installed on a police vehicle will read your plate number and alert the officer if your vehicle does not have a valid parking pass. If not, you will receive a citation.

Because the system works by reading your license plate, it is not necessary to display the receipt.  Please be careful entering your license plate number into the kiosk, as an incorrect entry will mean your plate will not be recognized.  Once you have registered for your pass, you can head straight to the park and do not have to return to your vehicle.

The passes are valid at all of the locations listed above.  For example, if you purchase a pass at the Elm Street lot and then decide to go to Tiscornia Beach, the pass will still apply to your vehicle as long as the pass is valid, whether hourly, daily, or a season pass.  You do not have to purchase another pass for your vehicle to change locations.

City residents and property owners may register for free season passes.
