2022 Property Maintenance Program

In 2022, Focus Area 1, which is located predominately east of Main Street, south of Broad Street, west of Langley Avenue and north of Harrison Avenue, is being inspected.  Announcement letters are sent to the property owners in February with the exterior property inspections from the public right-of-way taking place during February, March and April.  Beginning May 1st, Correction Notices are sent to property owners that did not pass the inspection.

If a Correction Notice is issued for the property the owner/agent will have until September 20, 2022 to complete the required repairs. An appeal process is available if more time is believed necessary to make repairs or to contest the determination. If your property ‘passed’ the inspection you will not receive a formal follow-up letter but feel free to call to confirm.

The Property Maintenance Board of Appeals is responsible for hearing all appeals associated with the program.
