Notice: Public Hearing of the St. Joseph Housing Commission

The St. Joseph Housing Commission has developed the Draft fiscal year 2025 Annual PHA Plan; Draft 2025-2029 5 Year PHA Plan, Draft 2025-2029 CFP Five Year Action Plan, along with the Draft 2024 Admissions and Continued Occupancy Plan (ACOP) in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998 and applicable regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The ACOP reflects the goals and objectives of the Commission and the administration of housing and programs. They are available for public review for a period of not less than 45 days at the City of St. Joseph website www.sjcity.com and at the PHA’s administration office located at 601 Port Street, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085. The Commission's hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. to Noon. The comment period will end, Friday, November 15th, 2024. The Housing Commission will conduct a public hearing at a Special Board Meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, November 18th, 2024, at The St. Joseph Housing Commission, 601 Port St., St. Joseph, MI  49085, 15^th Floor Library. The purpose of the public hearing is to obtain final citizen comments on the Agency Plan, Five Year Plan and Admissions and Continued Occupancy Plan, which will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development no later January 17^th, 2025.
