How to set up new service

All property owners desiring water to their property from the St. Joseph Water System must make application by completing the Water Service Agreement Application with the City of St. Joseph.  Federal regulations require that all customers provide a valid photo ID.  The application is available in the Water Billing Forms and Documents section.  The completed application and valid photo ID must be returned to the Finance Department - Water Billing for processing. How to stop service

Call the Finance Department - Water Billing to arrange for a final water meter reading.  Be ready to tell us the date you are moving out and a forwarding address for your final water bill.  24 hour notice required to schedule a final reading.
