Hiring: Water Filtration Plant Operator

We are seeking a Water Filtration Plant Operator to perform responsible operational and maintenance work related to water filtration and to conduct all duties assigned in a safety conscious manner. This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position starting at $27.88. In addition to a competitive salary, the City provides a generous benefits package that includes a defined benefit retirement plan. Must obtain a State of Michigan Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) F-4 Operator's Certificate within the time period required by the EGLE.  Must keep Operator's Certificate current by regularly attending EGLE accredited courses and seminars.
