Brush Collection

Brush collection is intended for the removal of small amounts of tree limbs or brush. It is not intended for removal of entire trees or contracted work.

  • All brush collection requests shall be called in. Brush should not be put out at the street until arrangements have been made with the Department of Public Services at (269) 983-6341 .

  • Brush collection includes tree branches and limbs up to 8 inches diameter and 8 feet long, bushes and shrubs. The root ball must be removed.

  • The amount allowed for each collection is 15 limbs maximum.

  • NO twigs, leaves, sod, grass clippings, or other yard waste. Removal of yard waste is the responsibility of the property owner. (See leaf collection.)

  • Brush collection does not include waste generated through contracted work. All contractors shall be responsible for the collection, removal, and proper disposal of yard waste generated through landscape work.

  • Brush collection is not a regularly scheduled collection. When we have recieved a sufficient number of request to justify sending out a crew, the collection will be done. Therefore, residents should not expect same day service.
