Building Inspection
About
The Inspection Department consists of four full-time staff members and three contract inspectors. The Department has four main areas of focus which include:
- Reviewing, issuing and inspecting permits associated with building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work in addition to accessory structures, fences and sign permits;
- Administers the Residential Rental Programs - stays of one month longer or short-term rental with stays of less than one month;
- The annual property maintenance program; and
- Code enforcement.
