The Clerk's Office has mailed out the applications for absentee ballots to vote in the upcoming Primary Election, which will be held on August 3. 

There are nine candidates for three open seats on the City Commission; the six candidates who receive the greatest number of votes in the primary election will move on to the November 2 General Election.  The candidates who receive the two greatest number of votes in the General Election will receive four-year terms; the candidate who receives the third-greatest number of votes will receive a two-year term.  The City Commission race is the only one on the ballot; however, it has a big impact on our City, make your vote count!
