Please be advised that the Bicentennial Bascule Bridge (BL-94) is scheduled for maintenance inspection the week of September 15 - 19, 2014 from 8 - 5 daily and will require the bridge to be closed throughout this week causing lane closures to vehicular traffic.


The regular meeting of the Downtown Development Authority scheduled for Thursday morning, 8:30 a.m. on 9/18 has been cancelled.  If you have questions, please contact Richard Lewis, DDA Director at 983-5541.  Thank you.

The Whirlpool Compass Fountain is free, open to the public, and the hours of operation throughout September will include every day from noon - 2 p.m. and 5 - 9 p.m. .  Please come and enjoy!

Citizen's Guide to St. Joseph

The intent of the Citizen's Guide is to provide a simple presentation of graphs which measure the City's most important benchmarking elements. The Guide is four pages and includes one page each for revenues, expenditures, fund balances and debt service.

The next Community Action Team Meeting is Wednesday, September 24th from 6:00 pm - 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the St. Joseph High School Student Center.


The City Commission asked for a survey and assessment to be completed as it relates to invasive plants within the City of St. Joseph.


The St. Joseph City Commission has voted to upgrade the City's recycling service by changing from the current recycle bins to new 96 gallon recycle carts.
